This one is proving to be a really nice plant up here in 4b. Parentage is (Crazy Ivan X Get Jiggy), seeds created by Mike Halloran and initially raised by Ed Thaubald before making its way to Duluth in 2021. It arrived as a generous clump, and was planted in 4 locations; 3 bloomed the following year. Based on how it behaves, I think it might be a dormant despite semi X evergreen parentage; it has certainly performed well here in 4b so far. Highly variable pattern here, which is probably in part due to our cooler climate; it's more than I had been expecting based on bloom photos before the plant was sent up here. 31" height, 5.5" bloom on they one I measured. I have a name reserved for this one, but not sure if I'll use it for this, or some other plant yet, so sitting on it for now.
