NOTE - being an evergreen, I was skeptical about how it would perform here in the world of 4b. I found a grower in Wisconsin who has grown it in 4b, so I planted this one right along the foundation of our house & basement, which is heated and thus radiates heat out into the ground around it. Perhaps I'm cheating the system, but it worked for the first winter and rewarded us with many handsome blooms. Will probably try a piece of it in an unprotected location in years to come, just to see how hardy this one proves to be!
